The Time is Now.

We love to promise ourselves that next week or month will be different.

If we just make it through this one case, deadline, project, trip, or busy spell, things will be different.

We’ll slow down.

We’ll take care of ourselves better.

We’ll make time for your family and friends.

We will get our to-do list under control.

Then that time comes, and we’re too exhausted to do or completely uninterested in doing any of those things before the next busy period hits.

And the cycle repeats.

The problem is that you keep waiting for the perfect time to make changes.

That time isn’t coming.

Start making the change you want to see now.

Even when you’re busy.

Even when it feels overwhelming to think about doing something differently.

The key is taking small steps. Even if that first step is just making small incremental changes to create more time and space to breathe and think, so that you can make the bigger changes.
