Success

The definition of success isn’t “forever.” You’re definitely doesn’t have to be.

But that's often how we view success, even if we don’t realize it.

Staying in the same job or career forever.

Staying in the same relationships forever.

Running the same business forever.

Always being a runner or a tennis player or a writer or a yogi.

Doing something for as long as we possibly can.

And if we don’t then we “failed.”

But you can also decide that it is successful to know when a journey has ended.

To know when something has run its course.

To decide you want something different.

To quit something that no longer serves you.

To know when a season of your life has ended.

Things can be good and still end.

A slight tweak in your definition of success can allow you to let go of some things that are holding you back from creating a life that you love.

Where has quitting, leaving, or stopping something actually been a success for you?
